New York proved tonight that Dems have morals. Andrew Cuomo is a sexual predator. Period! Thank you New York for not caving to MAGA. We are better than that. You guys showed those women who came forward that they matter. 💙💙💙

Thought you might find this interesting. I wrote it some weeks back:

Wow. What a clear and succinct playbook. Don't get me wrong, you have nuances there I hadn't thought of, but this is a virtual mind-meld of my thoughts. Part of my "multi-part series" thing that made me shelve it was that it all sounded like a wanna-be graduate class bullshit.

I do think there is something very important in trying to break these things down — and in 26 trying to push a unified narrative from the grass roots that engages them and possibly nudges MSM coverage.

Let's please keep in contact. I am down in helping develop, amplify, or anything in between. And thanks again for your kind words. It means a lot.

I’m 71 and have been screaming into the void since 2016. How can we tell republicans to grow a spine when our own Democratic reps won’t? I refuse to vote for anyone over 65 for any office. Your time is done - retire gracefully. We need to hand the reins over to the younger generations and support their efforts to move this country forward and stop the MAGAT slide into autocracy. Young and old people seem to be the only ones who get loud enough to get attention. Quit trying to be everyone’s friend and actually make an effort to do something or I’ll join the younguns and work to primary the old, dead wood.

Another 71 year old chiming in. I’ve been at this since Vietnam protests, with varying degrees of success.

I agree that we need fresh blood. But it’s up to them to step up. While son of my students (I teach at an arts college) have fire, a significant number are cynical or just plain uninterested.

Our wanting them to do it will not make it so.

I think.

This age thing is a little too simplistic. I would definitely vote for Mr. Bernie Sanders. Or elizabeth warren I did vote for Zohran

MAMDANI .

Totally agree with you…and am excited about the results of this mayoral race as it shows how disconnected most of our elected officials are from what we, the people, want and will vote for when given the chance.

Here's hoping the NYC mayoral election is a weathervane for 2026 elections. Thank you for this post!

The Democratic party needs what the Tea Party did the the Republicans starting in 2009. Just looking at the NYC mayoral primary chatter today makes that painfully OBVIOUS.

The next chance for SERIOUS CHANGE is mid-term elections ‘26. The opposition to don the con is 2:1 against! That includes counting 61 million CITIZENS WHO DID NOT VOTE IN '24. We should be talking to our neighbors enlisting their help to rid the USA of KING con in ‘26. DO WE CARE ENOUGH?

One of the best managers that I had in a long career in aerospace manufacturing research had a plaque on his wall…” Lead, follow or get out of the way.” and he walked it every day. WE need more of that…
