I think Beshear needs to release a proof of life video as well. I can’t believe his silence on this. He can force the issue by demanding proof that McConnell is alive and calling an election if they don’t respond. I have a hard time imagining that the Republicans would be so flaccid if the roles were reversed.
So, here's the situation as I understand it: the (very) senior Senator from Kentucky was found unconscious in his home on June 14. And the Governor of Kentucky is unable to determine whether the Senator is alive or dead. Really???? That's the issue that Andy Beshear cannot resolve - for six weeks? Is Beshear also unconscious?
