WATCH: Maddow On Protests & Trumps Weakness
Her A Block tonight was a perfect blend of the seriousness of the crisis and the road to winning.
Let me be a little self-indulgent about how I write and what my message is. While I’ve been working in advertising for decades I don’t have a brand voice. I write about what I feel at the time — and I think like most people out there, I’m on the same rollercoaster.
There is a lot to be worried about, but there are moments of positivity that I think should be encouraged. I follow and read a number of people/publications that treat, say, every utterance of some Dem politician like it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I don’t do that.
That means that the rightfully frightening article/essay I pre-released from my newsletter today (ICE Is The American Gestapo) is scary because the situation is. But, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t signs of hope out there.
Maddow has made a point of pointing out the success of protesters and the underlying weakness of Trump. The truth of that and the historical seriousness of the threat are not mutually exclusive. Both can be and are true.
Below is the segment. Kudos to Politicususa for sharing. MSNBC does a terrible job sharing the content of their highest-rated anchor. I hope the folks at Politicusuas keep grabbing it!

What about The Posse Comitatus Act? Isn't this just another example of his illegal actions?
