Spartanburg | Charleston, SC | 2022
Spartanburg was a work trip for Amy. It ended up being quite a nice mid-size city with a picturesque downtown.
Unbeknownst to Amy I got Madison a plane ticket to fly down from Chicago and join us in Charlestown for the weekend. Had Madison just show up at a restaurant we were at. Easily the best surprise I’ve ever pulled off.
This was the first time in Charleston for all of us. I can easily understand why it’s such a popular destination. It’s beautiful with some amazing architecture. Feel like it’s kind of a more genteel New Orleans. I’m partial to the Big Easy because of the food and music, but Charleston is up there as a favorite American city.
