NOTE•WORTHY
A collection of the posts/notes I share that might be worth not slipping into the scrolling feed abyss.
I decided to keep some of my shorter thoughts in one place. It might help me with topics I’d like to further expand upon, free of my other dumb posts and self-promotion. Plus, folks can track me weekly/daily/hourly as I careen between sarcastic, earnest, hopeful, and desperate!
Good times!
5/21/25 Where Are The Criminals?
The Cato Institute released a study that at least 50 immigrants sent to El Salvador were here LEGALLY. Even if here illegally I think very FEW are criminals beyond coming here. If they were there would be show trials.
So what we're doing is sending good people to foreign gulags and their deaths. I good Americans, good PEOPLE, who have been caught up in the immigration hysteria.
I doubt they support this depravity.
5/22/25 Robbing From The Poor
The “class warfare” peddled by Republicans for decades has always been bullshit. That was then, this is the hypocrisy peaking with he largest transfer of wealth from poor to rich…ever?
It is either the last gasp of a party that knows it’s days are numbered, or a party that has collectively and quietly decided they will do anything to never give it up.
5/23/25 Writing And AI
Read a post here today from a guy who decided to pay for a premium subscription to Chat GPS and going on about how much it had helped his work. Apparently, it’s $200 a month.
One of the responses he got was from someone who agreed how much it had improved his writing.
He recounted that he did some unique inputs and ran another program that could catch the “plagiarism” which he reworded.
He ending praising how it had helped him develop his writing style at long last!
Profile pick looked liked the guy was probably in his 40s, which makes me feel like I need to state the obvious:
Dude. That’s not writing.
And if there is any “style” it’s not yours.
5/13/25 Stupidity Meets Evil
I live in the border town of Port Huron, MI. Our town has always been very reliant on Canadian business. There’s no reason for this other than intimidation and towns like mine will suffer. Absolutely idiotic.
5/10/25 Lose Yourself
WATCH: Some Saturday Night fun with Eminem and a bunch of films.
4/17/25 All Of These Things Are Just Like The Other
Click on the photo above and look at the collection of stories from the past few days. What is the common thread?
Dictatorship.
Dictatorships don’t start with Martial Law and troops in the streets. They start exactly like this — pushing and probing on all fronts to collect new powers and stifle and silence opposition. The problem is that it’s happening on so many fronts, and so many other things are dominating the news (let’s tank the global economy!) that we fail to see the commonalities and connections. But they are right there in the open.
Both Democrats and resisters in general and our mainstream media need to establish a commonly-understood template in which all these kinds of stories can be added to when they happen. For the opposition that’s agreeing on language (dictatorship not authoritarianism which the public doesn’t get) and it’s as simple as some Road to Dictatorship ongoing series. We must help the general public connect the dots.
4/16/25 — More Infuriating January 6th Brainwashing
The pardoning of the January 6th insurrectionists has to be one of the most un-American acts ever by a President of the United States. But since he took office and the firehose of shit was turned on, you may not have noticed that Trump took the pardons even further since.
First, his personal Justice Department expanded the definition of the original pardons to cover unrelated gun issues. As Politico reported:
The Justice Department now says that President Donald Trump’s clemency for Jan. 6 rioters covers unrelated crimes that were discovered during FBI searches stemming from the attack on the Capitol.
Federal prosecutors revealed the new legal position this week in court papers seeking to drop gun charges against two former Jan. 6 defendants. The guns in question were found at the two men’s homes during the Jan. 6 investigation, but the alleged gun crimes themselves were not connected to the riot.
The two men whose charges are being dropped — Daniel Ball and Elias Costianes — both had been awaiting trial on Jan. 6-related charges when Trump took office. Ball faced charges of assault, while Costianes had misdemeanor charges pending. Those cases quickly disappeared as a result of Trump’s clemency. But in separate proceedings, they also had both been accused of illegally possessing weapons that law enforcement officers discovered in Jan. 6-related searches.
And just last week< Trump took it even further, opening the door for pardoned J6 criminals to get refunded for the money they had to pay for damaging the Capitol:
Jan. 6 defendants whose convictions were wiped out by President Donald Trump are entitled to a refund of restitution payments they made to cover damage to the Capitol, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
The Orwellian campaign to brainwash as many Americans as possible continues. Beyond the chilling Dictatorship playbook part of all this, it’s just utterly disgusting — a continuation of the worst single threat to our Democracy since the Civil War.
4/14/25 — The Real Class Warfare
The top 1%, hell, the top 20% of people in this country are just miles and miles above all the rest of us. And the gulf keeps widening.
First class is for suckers. Gotta have a jet. It’s not a boat, it’s a yacht. Scratch that, a mega-yacht with a boat that tags along. One house, two houses. Let’s go three. Now let’s buy the houses on either side and tear them down.
Prices? They don’t matter. Groceries? Please. And playing the market is just a scratch-off bingo card with some strategy. It’s for fun. These people could never spend all their money. The children can’t spent it. And neither will the grandkids.
And with all that it’s still NEVER enough.
Never enough to realize that sure, maybe you’re smart and worked hard, but you realize that once you got in the club it because it’s almost impossible to fail.
4/13/25 — MAGA Delusion on Display
The fact that you could watch this utterly insane, contradictory, unplanned, chaotic, unexplainable series of moves that was bringing the entire global economy to the verge of collapse and MAGA buys that it was some brilliant deal making is one of the biggest tells that these people are utterly brainwashed cultists.
These fucking idiots would lose their jobs, their entire retirement savings, their houses, they’d lose everything, and end up huffing spray paint and freezing to death under a highway overpass wrapped in a MAGA flag made in China and their last words would be some muttering something about the Deep State.
4/12/25 — The Joe Biden Depression
I saw a clip of Santa Monica Nazi Stephen Miller on FOX saying with a straight face last week that in December — under Joe Biden’s failed economic policies — that the United States was in a depression. A DEPRESSION. Needless to say, we had the best economy in the world just a few months ago.
Trump was emphasizing how terrible things were. Of course, there’s always misdirection from Trump almost tanking the entire global economy. But, keep an eye out, because this feels like a concerted effort to try to hypnotize the sheeple and use the depression hangover as a justification of coming Republican tax cuts to jump start the economy.
3/20/25
FUN FACT: Killing the Post Office will hurt Trump voters more than any others!
There are millions of non-MAGA Trump voters who are totally against killing the Department of Education. Think of special needs funding alone. Add this to vets, medicare and (of course) social security and you have a shit-ton of cuts that they will FEEL. Trump has nowhere to go but DOWN.
3/13/25
Just a reminder that Trump 1.0 renegotiated NAFTA — which further tied the economies of Canada, Mexico, and the US — and said it was the GREATEST THING EVER!
But forget all that, MAGA idiots.
I knew when he was running that John Fetterman was different. Beyond the clothes he had policy positions and an attitude that screamed “I’m iconoclast who won’t fit into your typical political boxes!”
And you know, that’s alright.
I don’t expect every politician to have the same position as me on every subject.
That can be refreshing — when it’s not at a critical time on a critical issue. But he’s taken “interesting” to “terrible” faster than you can throw on long gym shorts.
I don’t get it. I thought he was good on the core issues. But he’s not. That seat needs to be held by someone else and his name rhymes with Bosh Bashiro.

I spent half my life listening to Republicans spout endlessly about decorum and the “sacred office of the president” when Clinton played sax and Obama wore a tan suite.
Now we’re having a sitting president whore himself in front of the White House for the world’s richest man who is sowing chaos and inflicting pain and suffering on countless Americans.
How people swallow this shit and live with themselves is beyond my comprehension.
I know it’s probably a distraction and all, but how FUCKING INSANE is it to have a President of the United States do all this Canada as 51st state bullshit?
We can’t lose sight of the fact that not only is none of this normal — it couldn’t IMAGINED not that long ago.
Sure, SURVIVING it priority #1, but how do we ever go back even to the glory day of the Tea Party?

Lost in the shuffle has been the upcoming rape of our natural resources — including in our national parks, a global gem. Not only has Trump cut $3.6 billion from National Parks (which generates $55 billion in revenue) but he’s classifying giants swaths of our protected forests as “dead” so lumber companies can get at them. Expect him to find other loopholes to unleash mining too.
Trump’s only political philosophy is what helps Trump. But, still sadly ironic that a Republican (Teddy Roosevelt) would be the greatest champion of protected lands and another “Republican” would do everything possible to destroy them.
Just read an analysis on Musk via a NYT gift article. I do love that these Tesla protests seem to be having quite an effect on the companies already shaky bottom line.
What did he think would happen going against his core EV audience?
As for the Teslas “catching fire” across the globe. Who says it’s protesters? I certainly wouldn’t condone THAT. Don’t Teslas have a pretty long track record of simply catching fire?
I’m no investment/market guy, but the rest of the article gave the basic overview that I’ve learned — he’s basically playing a shell game, hyping investors with new “products” that really don’t seem like they’ll materialize.
The whole “empire” is simply built on sand. Which makes it all the more likely that he is using his government access of literally EVERYTHING for God knows what. All the while getting new “contracts” from Trump.
I hope the truth gets out. I would love to watch that dude crash and burn as much as is humanly possible.

Let's keep in mind that for all the DOGE disruption happening there really hasn't been any significant finding of "waste, fraud and abuse" that has been verified.
The high-profile stuff they put on their website and tried to make MAGA fodder has almost all been either a flat-out lie or seriously overstated. Which I think was the point — MAGA just needs to hear the lie once to fully believe it.
As for efficiency, I don’t know anyone who believes in a federal government role in our society who doesn’t welcome efficiency. That’s good government.
This just all comes down gutting parts of the government Republicans have never liked — and whatever the Hell Musk is getting out of it. Which is likely a million times worse on the “fraud” front that they could ever find.
How long until we are "all in" with Russia in Ukraine? I mean, HELPING Russia?
Rumors that it's happening now, shutting down Ukrainian battlefield comms in coordination with Russian attacks.
I guess nothing is shocking, but damn.
