Father John Misty is the persona of one Josh Tillman who has now released six albums under the moniker. Each is an interesting blend of styles — from folk to baroque pop to indie rock to to the lushly orchestrated. I’ve been a fan for a while now and Amy got us tickets to see FJM this week. I plan on doing a deeper dive for this week’s newsletter. Maybe I can get a better handle on what this dude is all about. Either way, it’s intriguing. Enjoy!
